Element: Prepare for initial engagement in Moral Injury support
  • Access information from the Moral Injury PND manual
       
Element: Apply the information with appropriate pastoral care strategies in a Defence context to members and their families in accordance with organisational procedures
       
Element: Confirm understanding of Moral Injury from member and their family
       
Element: Provide advice on the PND model
  • Summarise the eight stages of the PND model used in the Moral Injury recovery process
       
Element: Explain to the member and their family on how the PND model can assist in Moral Injury recovery
       
Element: Conduct command briefings about PND in accordance with organisational policies and procedures
       
Element: Provide advice about PND to supervisors, managers and other relevant personnel
